Art Institute
There is a chance I may get into the Art Institute of Jacksonville! I applied online and contacted one of the admissions representatives. When I gave them my information and told them why I was interested in the school I told them about my online portfolio and they actually wanted to see it. When I emailed the link to them they said it was very impressive. I was very relieved when they liked it. The only draw back is that the application isn't free, it's $50. Good thing I have money saved up on my bank account. I'm glad the representative was able to answer any questions I had about the college. I learned that even though it's an Art Institute it's actually a small building with class rooms that hold up to 20 students. Even though it's a small building the students there get the best education they can afford. The programs there include culinary, architecture, web and graphics design, media and animation, as well as fashion design. I chose to go to this institute because I have relatives in Jacksonville, Florida. I have a feeling that if they accept me and if I go I may be really nervous because it's pretty far from home. I plan to get a dorm or stay with my grandmother if she's close enough. The representative said that, by the things are going they may be able to send a letter telling me if I got in or not by Friday.
