Article Response: Disney Blatant Sexism

*What I didn't know:  1) That Disney had altered the characters original design to suit their needs.  2) That Merida was based off of the creators daughter and was created as a strong female role model.  3) That Disney tries to make their princesses look sexy even though the films are supposed to be family friendly.  **Opinions:  1) I think that it was a ridiculous idea to change Merida's design.  2)  Most of the time I prefer strong female characters rather than sexy ones depending on the message the character is trying to convey.  ***Questions:  Why has Disney been doing things like this lately?
