"The Hero With A Thousand Faces"

This is a very influential book written by Joseph Campbell.  It goes into detail on how each and every film follows a certain pattern.  In fact some of the most well known directors owe their success to this book.  I recommend giving it a read since it is also a book that is pretty well known amongst the film industry.  It talks about how there are no original stories and how every single story has already been told.  The only differences are the characters.  It's an interesting read since it also applies to writing as well.  If you're looking to become a film maker(live action or animated) or a story teller then you should definitely checkout this book.  It can be found at Barnes and Noble or you can buy a digital copy from online stores like Amazon or any other online bookstore.
