Article Response #1

*What I learned:  Making viral videos may seem easy, but it's not.  A lot of factors play into making a viral video.  *What I found interesting:  That they highlighted the things that would make people click away from the video and the things that won't.  They also listed the many things that can make or break a great video such as lighting, camera quality, and audio quality.  I found it interesting that the person who wrote the article got their facts from actual people who make these types of videos.  In one part it states that Mr. Frank, from Los Angeles, has another person operating the camera to get better feedback on how he should be performing.  *What I agree with:  I agree with Mr. Frank because using you cameraman is a great way to tell if you to be more cheerful, serious, or goofy depending on how he or she reacts.  I've seen many Youtube videos that could have been better if there was someone else handling the camera other than the person just sitting there by themselves talking into a camera lens.  *What I disagree with:  I sort of disagree with the fact that the person on camera shouldn't talk about themselves.  If they talk about themselves it f=does make them seem egotistical, but it can also help establish a more personal relationship with the viewers.
