Article response: GIF
What I didn't know: That the first gif was created in 1878. The first GIF was of a horse. What I found interesting: that gif was chosen as the word of the year by Oxford Dictionary. I already knew that gifs would never die regarding how popular they are because you make just about anything into a gif, like how the article said that some of the most famous gifs were created using scenes from Star Trek. There are even gifs regarding politics, which I find kind of funny since I've actually seen some of them because people on devianart.com use them a lot as profile images and such. I remember seeing something a while ago on the History channel about the first gifs ever created and the type of cameras the people had to use to get the correct images.
