Article Response
What I didn't know was that 3D sales have dropped. I thought that the 3D sales would have stayed the same or increased a little considering the fact that almost everyone I know talks about some new product that has been released with some kind of 3D feature added to it. When Disney Pixar first released 'Finding Nemo' my family and I went to see the day it came out. Now that they're re-releasing it to 3D I know that there will be people who go to see it for nostalgic purposes. In my opinion: I really don't mind 3D movies as long as they have a good story thats not that hard to follow. Disney seems to be re-releasing a lot of their old movies to 3D like 'The Lion King' and 'Beauty And The Beast'. When they re-released 'The Lion King', my friend and I went to the theatre to watch it in 3D. When it comes to 3D I'm not much of an expert, but I think it's true that they use it to cover up for the mistakes that they made in the film, like the fact that putting it in 3D distracts the viewer from noticing any narration flaws. Over all I prefer regular 2D rather than 3D because I basically grew up watching 2D animated movies created by Disney. You don't really need 3D effects for a film to be great.
